**Avernakø — a pearl in the South Funen Archipelago **
Avernakø is a unique island located just south of Faaborg. A wonderful ferry ride brings you here, where you can enjoy our hospitality. The island stretches for 8 kilometers and offers many beautiful beaches. Here we live 113 people with a rich bird and animal life, and you can experience Denmark's last and only May tree. The view is quite unique and extends in clear weather all the way to Funen, Ærø, Als, Drejø, Lyø, Bjørnø, Svelmø and even Skarø.

Ferry ticket - Your ferry tickets will be attached to an email we will send to you. There is a barcode that the ferry staff must scan when you board the ferry in Faaborg. It is a good idea to be in good time for the ferry.
