Island trip with room for presence, creativity and fun in nature on Avernakø in the South Funen Sea. We take care of everything, from the company from Faaborg to accommodation and food and activities. With this tour we want to create a safe experience, both fun and with a focus on the safety and health of children.

Dogs are warmly welcome with us, but must be stated at the time of ordering.
There is an option to book an extra night if one wishes to extend one's stay. The extra accommodation includes dinner and breakfast. It costs 750, - for adults and 400, - for children. The program for your island trip
Day 1 - The Ferry
9:45am: We meet at Kanalvej 13 in Faaborg where the ferry is waiting for us. On the ferry we serve buns with cold or hot cocoa and we can tell a lot about the South Funen Archipelago. Maybe we'll even spot a guinea pig! There is also free access to a locker filled with children's books, toys and drawing supplies so that children can enjoy themselves throughout the trip.
Baggage
When you board the ferry you will find a clearly marked “cage” where you can put your luggage so that you do not have to drag it into the salon.
Day 1 - Arrival at Avernakø Landhotel
11:10am: Upon arrival at Avernakø, we take your luggage to the hotel, so you can enjoy a relaxing walk up to the hotel without carrying anything. After the entrance, there is a child-friendly lunch with several dishes. Throughout the stay there is free access to fruit, vegetables and buttered buns for the little hungry, as well as coffee and tea for the adults.
Day 1 - Afternoon
In the afternoon, depending on the weather, we can go on a beach trip with exciting equipment for play and discovery, or enjoy ourselves by the fire in the fire hut with popcorn and the company of animals.
Day 1 - Dinner and fun
5.30pm: For dinner, you can build your own delicious burgers and enjoy pancakes with ice cream for dessert. 6.30pm: We say goodnight to all the animals and learn about their evening routines.
Day 2 - Breakfast
7:00 AM — 8:00 AM: Enjoy a delicious breakfast with a large and child-friendly selection of homemade delights.
Day 2 - Animal watching
9:15 a.m.: Join us for an exciting animal watching tour, where Majbritt talks about the animals and everyone can help feed them. Meet rabbits, goats, sheep, guinea pigs, budgies, chickens and the hotel cat.
Day 2 - Lunch
11.30: We serve a delicious lunch, after which you are free to choose what you want to make of pleasant activities.
Day 2 - The trip goes home
2:30 p.m.: We go to the ferry together, while the luggage is taken to the ferry for us, so you can enjoy the last part of the trip in peace.
Practical information
- There is free access to our activity corner during the entire stay. Here you can draw, paint and enjoy creative activities.
- Be in good time for the ferry departure.
- Remember practical footwear and appropriate attire.
- There is the possibility of drying wet footwear and outerwear.
- Remember stroller for the little ones.
